Douglas Park Logo Contest

Neighbors, we are announcing a contest for anyone to submit ideas for a new Douglas Park Civic Association logo by July 30th to president@douglasparkca.org.

Our old logo was basically random clip art selected by the County many years ago, and it is time for an upgrade. The Douglas Park Civic Association Executive Board will vote on a winning logo from the submissions. We ask that the logo capture something unique to our Douglas Park neighborhood, and that submissions include an explanation of what the logo means and how it incorporates the great parts of the area into it.

The logo will be featured on the big physical signs around the corners of the neighborhood, and it will be used on our website and official documents, and we will be making a new sign with the logo to use at all of our events. The logo does not need to be a perfect, as we will work with a graphic designer to put finishing touches on it, we ask for it to be unique to the neighborhood and meaningful.
