Barcroft Center – Letter of Support
Steve Jordan Tomaszewski, President of the Douglas Park Civic Association, submitted a letter to the Arlington County Board expressing strong support for restoring proposed funding reductions to the Barcroft Sports and Fitness Center.
The letter highlights the Center’s importance to the Douglas Park neighborhood, serving as a recreation facility, community gathering space, polling location, and refuge during extreme weather, while also offering constructive ideas to strengthen programming and increase community participation.
